Daniel Montenegro is an
award-winning filmmaker,
director, and producer
whose work focuses
on character-driven
narrative storytelling.
Raised in Phoenix, Arizona,
Daniel developed his passion
for cinema early, pursuing
filmmaking in an environment
with limited industry access—a
challenge that shaped his
disciplined and collaborative
approach to production.

After serving in the United
States Army, Daniel returned
to filmmaking with a renewed
focus on leadership, teamwork,
and professional standards.
He holds a Bachelor of Science
in Film Production with a
concentration in Directing
from The Los Angeles Film
School and a Master of Fine
Arts in Film Production
from Full Sail University,
where he graduated as
Salutatorian.

Daniel’s films have been recognized by LA Shorts International Film Festival, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, the New York International Film Awards, the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival, and the
Cannes World Film Festival. His film Sea Salt is distributed on Amazon Prime Video. In addition to his creative work, Daniel teaches Film Productionand Screenwriting at Grand Canyon University, where he mentors emerging filmmakers while continuing to develop narrative films that connect with audiences worldwide.
